Year-Round Continuing Care Program
Wellspring’s entire focus is on ensuring that campers return to a healthy weight within the year after camp. An important part of this is Wellspring’s unique year-round Continuing Care program.
Wellspring Vancouver’s online Continuing Care program ensures campers stay in regular contact with their Behavioral Coach (BC) from camp and have daily access to the friends that they made at camp. Campers self-monitor, journal, set goals, and weigh-in through this online program. At the same time, their BC is closely monitoring the camper’s progress and providing feedback and support. During a camper’s last week at Wellspring Vancouver, he or she will be introduced to the Continuing Care program by their BC.
Wellspring believes so strongly in the Continuing Care program that campers who successfully complete the program will be refunded the entire cost of the Continuing Care program ($600) refunded to them.
The fee is refunded based on meeting two criteria:
- Camper completes 140 out of 180 days of self-monitoring (3 food items with fat and calories recorded per day)
- Parent (or camper) obtains a verified height and weight and provides this form back to Wellspring via mail, fax, or email.

Wellspring strongly encourages family involvement and positive role-modeling of weight controlling behaviors. If other family members wish to use the Continuing Care site to participate from August 2010 until June 2011, they may do so free of charge.
